Two friends. Two journeys.
In the quaint town of Nicolet on the shores of Lake Superior, two friends help each other face the past and embrace the future.
Widowed and disenchanted with love, Olivia Reeves is tired of living life in half measure. Though still disillusioned and scarred from her marriage, she’s finally ready to move on—at least, she thinks she is. But moving forward means forgiving past wrongs and trusting once again. Can it be done? When Sean, an old friend, reenters her life unexpectedly, Olivia is put to the test, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Love and happiness are on the line.
Anna Davis, Olivia’s young friend, has always lived in the shadow of her family’s past tragedy, but after a series of events, the storm of the past blows into the present and the Davises have no choice but to finally confront their loss. The question is: Will it unite them together or break them apart?
Experience the special bond between these two extraordinary women as they hold out hope for a better life in this northern beach town.

A wonderful easy book to read, I love getting to know all of the characters. Has suspense in all the right places. The author left me wanting to read more and find out what happened when Olivia took the ring back to her ex in laws I already have the next book, I can’t wait to start reading!! ~Amazon Reader
This is the first book I have ever read by this author. It was very good and kept my interest throughout. Two stories in one about the life and family of a teenage Anna and her neighbor Olivia. Things that shape our daily lives and possibly our futures. Looking forward to more from Charlotte. ~Goodreads Reader
